As a guide….
Plantproviders aim to despatch stock items between 7-16 working days. Especially sourced items may take longer. All orders are usually packed on a Monday or, a Tuesday ready for despatch on a Tuesday or Wednesday, using a 1-3 day delivery service as standard. We do not generally send plants out later in the week; this ensures that any boxed plants arrive at your chosen address before the weekend, avoiding possible damage caused by lack of light, air and water when left in depots/vans over the weekend. Deliveries normally take place between 6am and 6pm within three days of despatch. Please make sure that you will be available to sign for goods. Next day and timed services may be applied to orders; please contact the nursery for special delivery prices prior to ordering via our web site.
Plant Providers charge for delivery at cost price, which is based on weight and speed of delivery. We do not profit from delivery charges in any way. We do not charge for handling.
All plants are packed with great care. To keep our prices down we use second-hand packaging. Please unpack plants on arrival and water them if and when necessary. If you are sending a gift, please let us know when ordering, so that we can use the tidiest packaging available. Please feel free to contact us regarding any special requirements. Any special gift wrapping will be at additional cost.
If plants are damaged in transit, complaints must be made to the nursery with 24hours of receipt. If the box is damaged, please indicate on the delivery note which you sign saying; ‘contents unchecked within damaged box’, and also email us to let us know the extent of any damage. Please take photographs of damaged plants/packaging on arrival if possible. Our guarantee is limited to the replacement of any damaged plant/s with a plant/s of the same variety ordered. No claim can be made where damages are not reported within the time-scale mentioned above.

In brief, all plants are guaranteed to be true to name and free of pest and disease. All plants are checked thouroughly before despatch to make sure they are in good health when they leave the nursery. They are also packed extremely carefully so that they arrive safely. A signature will be required upon arrival. Please note that we do use recylced boxes to pack plants and packaging. If you are ordering plants that are to be delivered to a friend or loved ones address as a gift, please be sure to let us know so that we can pack accordingly. We do not offer a standard ‘ribbon & bows’ gift packaging service at the moment, but please feel free to contact us to discuss any special requirements that you may have. We may be able to help.

If you need your plants in a hurry or by a certain date, please contact us to discuss any requirements that you may have prior to ordering. If we have problems in sourcing any plants ordered we will email you as soon as possible with further details. We can not be held responsible for any delays in provision of non-stock items where third parties are involved.

We hope that you will agree that due to the nature of the product and the elements that plants are subject to, it is unreasonable for Plant Providers to offer any further guarantees against plants purchased. To help get your plants off to a good start please contact us for advice.
Please order carefully, as we are unable to offer exchanges or refunds unless we have supplied you incorrectly. Any plants that are to be returned, must be agreed with Wendy Asher (manager of Plant Providers) in writing (by email), prior to returning. Any plants to be returned, must be sent using Royal Mail’s next day, signed for service or as advised by plantproviders. The plants must also be returned using the original packaging. We will reimburse you for the return postage based on the original postage costs (it will weigh & cost the same if packed in original packaging).
All photographs are as accurate as possible when posted to this site. However, colours displayed can vary from one monitor to another and this must be taken into consideration when ordering. The final colour of flowers and foliage can also vary, depending on the conditions they are subject to. We can not be held responsible for these colour variations and do not replace plants that develop such differences. Plant descriptions are also to be used as a guide only. Dimensions are approximate.
